Charlotte Ngo is a young harpist of exceptional promise who began her musical studies at age five under Elena Mashakova and later continued with Olga Shevelevich of the Mariinsky Theatre tradition. She gained international recognition after winning First Place at the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music in 2022, leading to her debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall in 2023. Charlotte has since earned over eighteen gold prizes, including a Gold Medal at the 5th Vienna International Music Competition and First Prize in the Contemporary Category of the 2025 CAPMT State Competition. In 2025, at age twelve, she received the Rising Star Award at the La Jolla Symphony & Chorus Emerging Artists Competition, becoming the youngest winner among contestants aged 18–26. She is the youngest member of the advanced ensemble of the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra and has been selected to perform at the World Harp Congress 2026, representing the United States in July 2026 in Toronto, Canada.
